About Peace of Thread

The mission of Peace of Thread is to empower, employ, and advocate for women in vulnerable populations by producing hand made, high quality, one-of-a-kind bags and accessories using designer repurposed or up-cycled materials made in the U.S.A. We envision a world where every woman has dignity, value and a voice. For this reason, we believe that through advocacy, empowerment, and employment, women who are marginalized and vulnerable can become confident. Peace of Thread provides a job opportunity for women to work from home, meaning they can care for their families and make an income. Additionally, through employment with Peace of Thread, our artisans have access to counseling, free medical care, free ESL classes, job training, educational workshops and so much more.
