About Oso Adventure Meals

Oso Adventure Meals makes freeze-dried backcountry food that actually tastes like someone's abuela made it. Founded in Denver by four outdoor enthusiasts (two with roots in Michoacán, Mexico), we cook authentic family recipes with Colorado-sourced elk, bison, and grass-fed meats, then freeze-dry everything in-house for a 5-year shelf life. The result: bold, spicy, real-deal meals that make everything else in the freeze-dried aisle taste like cardboard. There's nothing else like this on the shelf. While the big brands play it safe with bland, mass-produced pouches, Oso brings Latin-Colorado fusion flavors to the backcountry — think Bison Enchiladas, Elk Pozole, and Elk Huevos Rancheros.
