How I started making candles is not a glamorous story, but it is my story. March of 2022 my husband who was my person for 22 years took his life. I felt helpless to fix him. I decided that I needed a new hobby so I decided to start making candles. I also felt there had to be a better option out there for candles than most of the retail brands because of environmental concerns and my own personal feelings about them. Making candles was an outlet for me to deal with all of the feelings I had. I enjoyed this distraction so much and started handing out candles to friends & family and soon many were asking why I didn't sell them. I hadn't thought of it until then and I said, "Why not?" So, I did! I went all in on this & I haven't ever looked back. I feel such joy and comfort from burning candles in my home and even more from hand-pouring them so I hope that I can bring some of that joy to others.
