We're three cofounders and former Columbia roommates now based in Brooklyn. After our first-gen American cofounder's mom stumbled upon a kuromame (black edamame) snack while visiting family in Seoul, we became obsessed with the nutrient-packed superfood. After testing countless recipes, setting off fire alarms in our NYC apartment kitchens, and trialing with +300 friends asking us "omg where can i buy?”, we created bēēn snacks. Coming in under 150 calories, over 12g of protein, and just 6 ingredients, our crunchy bēēns are sure to excite your diverse, health-oriented, and adventurous shoppers.
