About Louisa B Apothecary

Hello and welcome to Louisa B Apothecary! Who is Louisa B? I'll tell you a secret, it isn't me! Louisa Brown, aka Louisa B was my great grandma. One evening at a family dinner I was asking for suggestions for what to call my business and my brother-in-law suggested family names and Louisa Brown came up! My first soap making business was called Louisa Brown soap (sounded way better than Louise Howard soap which is my name) and when I rebranded I kept the name and called it Louisa B Apothecary. I never met Louisa Brown but my Nan said she was an angel. I hope she's looking down on me cheering me on! I'm a holistic therapist, holistic coach & yoga teacher and I started making products to help my clients using the therapeutic benefits of essential oils, natural herbs & oils and Bach flower essences. Using them myself I knew how powerful and effective they are and I love the beautiful, natural scents of essential oils. Like you I am very careful about the products I use, making sure they are natural and non toxic. All of the products I make are plant based and natural. I never use any synthetic fragrances, parabens or artificial additives or preservatives. Only the best that nature has to offer.
