We moved into a little apartment a few months after we got engaged. The anticipation of living together was something we couldn't hold anymore. We lived in that small apartment for 18 months saving every penny to be able to purchase a beautiful home at ages of 25 and 24. We went from the tiniest of living spaces to a 2500 square foot home so needless to say we had a lot of empty space. We ended up loving the farmhouse style décor and just continued with that throughout the house.
