I’ve been knitting for over 15 years, and was introduced to natural fibers in 2016. I specialize in creating hand-knit items using natural fibers, including organic, locally farmed, family milled, or hand-dyed by independent dyers. I prioritize sourcing a portion of my hand-dyed yarns from minority dyers. That means your purchases help multiple small businesses and farms, and many items are truly one-of-a-kind! While most of the yarn you see at big box stores is plastic, here you'll find items knit from variety of soft and cozy wools (including merino, rambouillet, targhee, border leicester & more), alpaca, llama, cotton, bamboo, linen, or hemp. I’m a Sapling Program Business Partner with the National Forest Foundation and I donate to plant a tree for each item sold. In less than three years, I’ve donated to plant over 1200 trees! I'm also an Equality Ally with Equality Loudoun, a local nonprofit that advocates, educates, defends, & builds community to support LGBTQ+ equality.
