Petty Snacks began in 2018 with a single banana drawing and a whole lot of attitude. That banana? His name was Bananthony — a petty little fruit with big cartoon energy. Dreamed up by Ethan Jones, a Seattle-based artist with a DIY spirit, Bananthony kicked off a self-taught animation journey that turned one sketch into a full-on universe. Over the years, Bananthony evolved from doodle to animated YouTube series, bringing along a crew of offbeat, stoner-friendly characters that refuse to behave. In 2022, Ethan linked up with Bryson Bayot, another artist and animator from Hawaii who brought fresh energy to the mix. Together, they animate, voice, and write every weird little scene that makes Petty Snacks what it is. Now a full-on creative collective, Petty Snacks is all about stoner humor, character-driven storytelling, and art that makes you laugh even when you don’t know why.
