Karl Lemaire, entrepreneur and founder of Maryse in Paris, a lover of craftsmanship and a long-time advocate of made in France, met Maryse Couty, a scent creator in her gift-decoration shop in Montrouge, in the 2000s and fell under the spell of her universe. A native Parisian, she has always been passionate and inspired by the art of perfume and beautiful materials. Together they created Maryse in Paris in 2002 and launched their first collections of scents. Chic home, wardrobe, and closet fragrances, the collections of Maryse in Paris today are intertwined like a small travel diary, intimate and personal. Inspired by Maryse and developed in Grasse in the pure tradition of French perfumery, the Maryse collection includes great classics revisited and some new notes, sophistication mixed with charm and poetry. Considered to be sustainable, Maryse in Paris scents diffuse their fragrances over several years, without needing to be recharged in any way.
