About Red Star Dice
In a small Chicago apartment where winter winds rattle the windows and summer storms roll in off the lake, our dice are born. What started as a late-night hobby between game sessions grew into something more—a craft rooted in storytelling, creativity, and the magic of tabletop worlds. We were players first. We know the feeling of gripping a die before a critical roll, the tension at the table, the collective breath held in that split second before fate lands. That moment deserved something better than mass-produced dice. It deserved intention and imagination. It deserved to be usable art. So we began to make our own. Each die we create is hand-poured, sanded, polished, and inked right here in Chicago. No factories. No shortcuts. Just careful craftsmanship and a little bit of chaos—because no great story is perfectly predictable. Tiny quirks and subtle variations are part of the process, making every set as unique as the character who wields it. Inspired by the city around us, our designs carry pieces of Chicago’s spirit: bold, resilient, a little gritty, and full of character. From deep, stormy hues to bright, shimmering finishes, every set is a tribute to imagination and the worlds we build together at the table. We don’t just make dice—we make companions for your adventures. Tools for storytelling. Tokens of luck, mischief, and unforgettable moments. Because in the end, it’s not just about the roll. It’s about the story you tell when the dice land.
