Let me tell you about the time my 6-year-old daughter, Sofi, and I signed up for a craft booth—with no product to sell! Hi, I’m Kati—aka Sofi’s mom—and together we’re the team behind Stick with Sofi, our line of DIY Sticker Craft Kits. It all started when we signed up for a booth at Young Entrepreneur Saturday (YES Day) in summer 2023. We love going to festivals together and thought, why not try having a booth of our own? The only problem? We didn’t actually have anything to sell. Whoops! As we brainstormed, one idea kept sticking—DIY craft kits for kids. Sofi is the ultimate little maker. Between tennis, swimming, golf, dance, basketball, and more, she still finds time to draw, paint, trace, and sticker her heart out. So, we created our own DIY Sticker Suncatcher Kits for kids to take home and enjoy. We named our booth Stick with Sofi, and Sofi proudly explained to every visitor how the kits worked and how she helped make and pack each one. Watching her light up as she shared her creativity was pure magic. Our booth was a hit with both kids and adults, and now we’re on a mission to spread sunshine—and stickers!—even further.
