One day, while folding clothes, Carmen noticed that the wool dryer balls were getting tangled in the clothes, causing wrinkles. Some even fell on the floor when he took the clothes out of the dryer. This was really annoying. That's when Carmen had an idea. What if there was a wool cover that could attach to the dryer's baffle and stay in place during the drying cycle? He quickly made a prototype and tested it. The new invention, which he called the "Druffer," worked great! It had a larger surface area than dryer balls, making it better at removing lint and reducing drying time. Carmen was thrilled with his new creation and knew it would make laundry day much easier.
