Throughout my life I have been fascinated by fairy tales and stories. Being able to travel to another world and experience grand adventures has enriched my life. When I had my two children, I got the outlet for my imagination and have done everything from pirate treasure hunts and gold washer adventures to letter stories and other stories. My first big success both at my home and commercially was the Nissebrev Advent Calendar. I wrote the pixie letters because I wanted my children to have the opportunity to develop their imagination and get to experience a magical December. It doesn't have to be the material that determines what is a successful Christmas, or a happy life. Allowing children to be children is what gives them the most joy in my experience. Reading and experiencing adventures together is a memory for life. And this thought permeates everything I write and do. - Malin
