About Parramatta

Our knitwear factory Icomas guarantees production made with particularly fine yarns, keeping up with fashion trends but always refined and elegant because it is inspired by a tradition of craftsmanship and quality that has lasted for over 65 years. We use yarns that are naturally biodegradable, compostable, and reusable to ensure a low environmental impact. We take care of every production process, always focusing on their Eco-Impact. More than 90% of our production waste is recovered. Icomas is completely self-sufficient in terms of electricity consumption for lighting, heating, and cooling. The aspiration to bring our knitwear worldwide has led us to give new life to the ultra-centennial brand PARRAMATTA: the horse in the 1920s was a symbol of strength, courage, and authority, just like the red color of the bandana used as the horse's ornament. The brand's founder loved horses and horse racing so much that he owned a beautiful yet capricious one that seemed crazy, hence its name Parramatta. While frequenting the most famous English racetracks, he met a cashmere knitwear manufacturer who managed to instill in him a passion for this wonderful yarn, which, combined with his taste for beauty, led him to found a brand that produced knitwear unique in style and quality.Read their story
