CILICO was born in the kitchen, out of a shared frustration. As passionate home candy makers ourselves, we were tired of the guesswork, the anxiety, and the inconsistent results that came with traditional thermometers. One degree off could mean the difference between perfect, glossy caramel and a crystallized, wasted batch of ingredients. We knew there had to be a better way. That frustration sparked a two-year journey into dedicated research and development. We collaborated with a community of over 20 fellow confectioners—from artisan chocolatiers to dedicated home bakers—to meticulously listen, test, and refine every aspect of our first creation. The result is the CandyAlert™ Thermometer. It’s more than just a tool; it’s a promise.
