About Stitchworks

Stitchworks is a company that has been online since the beginning of its creation in 1997. Back when we started, there weren't very many personalized jersey companies so we did a lot of adult and youth garment work. One day, a customer asked us if we would consider making them a jersey for their toddler for a local high school team. They told us that no one would do such a thing and make it look authentic and wearable for a toddler. We took on the challenge and soon realized that our niche was born. We eventually reduced marketing towards adults and older children and concentrated on working on patterns and designs for our toddlers. After several years, we had a good following and repeat customers and those customers would then transfer into our youth and adult jersey lines. However, we needed smaller patterns, so we developed patterns all the way down to newborns to help with baby showers and gifts as well. In addition, we developed patterns for dog jerseys from tiny Teacup Poodles to Great Danes. We also boast making custom patterns for English Bulldogs, which no two are the same. Since those beginning days, we have expanded our line to toddler, infant and furbaby sports jersey. (Yes, we make jerseys for more animals than just dogs, lol) Our seamstresses are very proud to make little kids happy to play in their work. We love to see pictures of them as well. Many US companies have stopped making blanks for toddlers, so we are now offering them at low minimums.Read their story
