We’re Ochabe — a Chicago-based, Latina-owned social impact brand inspired by generations of women who weave with purpose and heart. Founded by Ana Maria Márquez, Ochabe was born from the legacy of her grandmother and great-grandmother, both master artisans and weavers in Colombia. Their passion for handcrafting with natural fibers lives on through every Ochabe piece. We partner directly with independent women entrepreneurs in Usiacurí (Atlántico) and Sandoná (Nariño), Colombia, to create a vibrant collection of jewelry, bags, and home décor. Each design is handwoven with sustainable iraca palm using techniques passed down for over a century. Ochabe is proudly woman-owned, Latino-owned, and a member of Chicago Fair Trade.
