Women are a cornerstone of coffee production globally, driving the industry’s growth. Still, women are commonly excluded from necessary aspects of the industry like leadership roles, fair pay, education, market access, and land ownership. Swelter Coffee Roasters offers high-quality coffees full of authentic stories and a connection to the women behind them. Our founder, Stephanie, fell in love with coffee while roasting in her kitchen as a hobby. After becoming a mother, she felt a renewed passion for making a positive impact, and embarked on a mission to build a sustainable coffee business that supports the women who are otherwise invisible in the industry.
