Icing Saver was born from two of the most meaningful things in my life — my family and a genuine problem worth solving. It started in my kitchen, watching my spouse spend hours carefully decorating a beautiful cake, only to have the plastic wrap cave in and destroy the icing the moment it needed to be stored. The frustration was real, the problem was obvious, and surprisingly, no good solution existed. That moment planted a seed. Around the same time, I wanted to give my daughter a hands-on lesson in entrepreneurship — something beyond textbooks and theory. I wanted her to see firsthand how an idea becomes a product, how a product becomes a brand, and how a brand reaches real customers who genuinely need what you've created. So we built it together. We developed the concept, designed the product, created the packaging, and launched Icing Saver as a real business with real stakes. She learned about manufacturing, branding, margins, marketplaces, and what it truly takes to bring something from idea to shelf. I learned that the best businesses are born from authentic problems experienced by real people.
