Roots and Expansion Our journey begins in 1989, when António Rocha, with a van bought on credit and spent nights sleeping on the border of the neighbouring country, began importing smoked salmon, an innovative product in Portugal at the time, marking the birth of the company. Over time, it expanded into its own production, especially in the areas of canned fish, branded Gudi and Omega Natural, salads and sliced salami Vitagudi, baguettes with Pangudi and light wines with Piki Wine. Toward the future Today, Gudis is recognized nationally and internationally, proud of a legacy that reflects the resilience, innovation and leadership of its founder.
