About Tio Pelon's Salsita
Tio Pelon's Salsita was born out of Oscar's (aka Tio) home kitchen in San Antonio, Tx while learning how to process home grown vegetables. The playful name "Tio Pelon" which stands for Uncle Baldy came from Tio's nickname due to his less than full head of hair and freshly becoming an uncle around the inception of the company. Our main focus since the start of the company has been to use fresh ingredients and make 'outstandingly' delicious sauces. They are all fantastic for cooking up a family meal or to add as a topping on your favorite dish.
