About Made By Tatica

My name is Lady Gonzalez, but all those close to me know me as Tatica. Tatica means “little sister” and is a nickname that my sister lovingly gave me. I am originally from Colombia and have called Boston my home for 19 years. All my life I stood out for being artistic and fortunately in June 2022 I was able to dedicate myself to creating my small business “Made by Tatica.” I started by designing cushions for friends but then I discovered my passion for macrame. I fell in love with this technique that is so wonderful it allows me to let my mind fly and create. I have also incorporated elements such as wood with its natural characteristics that make my creations a unique product. Made by Tatica has also become a team effort where my husband provides his help in different ways and of course not to mention my beloved dog Yiyo who supervises my workdays. With all of the support I receive every day from customers, colleagues and family, I am sure that Made by Tatica will continue to grow and create pieces that will make your home cozy and unique.Read their story
