About MIKO Eyewear

Spending time outdoors with my two kiddos in sunny California has always been a joy, until I learned that 80% of UV exposure happens before age 18, and the critical need for well fitting sunglasses to significantly reduce the risk of developing eye problems later in life. My daughter has a low bridge, and I had a hard time finding well-fitting options in styles and modern colors she liked. I wanted her to feel proud and embrace her features, rather than feeling like there were no options made for kids like her. This led me to create MIKO, an inclusive eyewear company designed for kiddos with low bridges. We’re focused on comfort, fit and style to help kids embrace their unique features (no more slipping sunnies!).
