About Anthony's Adventures

Hi! We're the Wagner family from Bellevue, Iowa, creators of the Anthony's Adventures children's book series. Our dad, Kurt, always dreamt of writing a children's book, and in 2015 he made it a reality. As a family, we supported his goal and helped him along the way — brainstorming a theme, storyline, main character, and the cutest illustrations we could think of. In 2016, after a year and a half of developing, editing and perfecting, we had 2,000 copies of Anthony, The Mouse Who Stirred at Christmas printed and delivered! That was just the start of our adventure; we were delighted by the positive local response to our family's creation, and soon expanded to area retailers and other events to share the fun. Plus, we wanted to support developing a second book... or maybe a third. Today, there are twelve books in the acclaimed Anthony's Adventures series, with three more on the way, plus a variety of other fun-forward products. Our mission is to combine engaging storytelling, beautiful illustrations, and educational value all in one place — through a series children can grow up with. With over 25,000 copies sold, we've noticed a trend with shoppers. If they can pick up the books and feel their quality, thumb through the pages, and witness the beautiful illustrations firsthand, they'll almost certainly make a purchase.
