About E.Cohen Designs
Ed Cohen is a Western Massachusetts craftsman who blends a graphic designer’s training with nearly three decades of fine woodworking. After earning a degree in graphic design from Carnegie Mellon University in 1986, he began his career as a designer and art director, eventually channeling his passion for wood into a line of handcrafted Judaica. Over 27 years at the bench, his work has been featured in several woodworking books and publications. In addition to his Judaica pieces, Ed completes custom installations, renovations, and one-of-a-kind commissions, each marked by his graphic sensibility, meticulous attention to detail, and insistence on perfection.
