About Sweet Freez

Sweet Freez began with a simple idea: to bring joy through something fun, nostalgic, and delicious. Founded in 2022 by Paul and Holly Doyon in Timmins, Ontario, Sweet Freez started as a small addition to their family boutique. What began as a way to attract more customers quickly grew into something much bigger—a community favorite. At first, we experimented with freeze-dried candy at markets and shows, curious to see how people would react. The response was overwhelming. People loved the bold crunch, the unique textures, and the way their favorite treats were transformed into something brand-new. What was meant to be a side project turned into our passion and full-time dream. By 2024, Sweet Freez had grown into a brick-and-mortar shop at 175 Third Ave in downtown Timmins, offering the best freeze-dried products in Northern Ontario. From classic candies to fruits and even MRE-style packs for hikers and travelers, everything we make is produced in our certified commercial kitchen, ensuring top quality and safety. But Sweet Freez is more than just candy. It’s about family, community, and creativity. We still travel to markets, shows, and events, bringing our treats directly to people all over the region.
