About Reminders To My Future Self

A writer and artist located in the Hudson Valley region of New York, Karlie Flood began Reminders To My Future Self as a project to hold herself accountable in documenting her life, feelings, and writing during the pandemic. After losing her nineteen year old sister in 2020, this project became not only a lifeline, but an outlet for grief. She began making collages because the white backgrounds of her writing felt plain. 3 years later and she loves creating art almost as much as she loves writing.
