About Elixâne

The company was created in 2009 by Julia Wygas, a donkey enthusiast with a background in agriculture. A project that has been developed since his adolescence: combining passion with a job. But why not create donkey milk soaps? The first soaps were created on market stalls in November 2009. There were only 3 donkeys in the herd! Gradually, the herd grew, the cosmetics range expanded and manufacturing began on the farm in 2012. Soaps containing 5% fresh milk have won over many donkey milk soap lovers. Several ranges are then proposed: supergras soaps for major skin problems, soaps suitable for children and teenagers! In 2019, the Elixâne company welcomed a first employee, Noémie, to meet the growing needs of consumers, then in 2021, a second employee, Marie, and the purchase of another soap factory that was about to close its doors... New soaps have therefore emerged at the soap factory, soaps made the old-fashioned way, using the cold saponification method, containing 10% donkey milk, but also a lip balm, a rich cream and a serum!
