About MOMEN

We are Romain and Benjamin, the co-founders of Momen. For 15 years we have been evolving in the world of textiles, Romain in sourcing and manufacturing and Benjamin in distribution. Fifteen years during which the state and values of the environment have unfortunately deteriorated before our eyes. Once synonymous with know-how, style, personality and quality, the clothing industry is now criticized for its lack of transparency and humanity as well as for its standardization. For the record, It was at a mutual friend's house that we met. Quickly prompted to discuss our respective jobs, we realized that we shared the same observation: we love our work, the clothes, the style... What we like less and less, on the other hand, is the direction that the industry is taking. A know-how that is gradually disappearing, a process that is less and less human in every sense of the word, and brands that no longer even know where or by whom their clothes are made, as there are so many intermediaries. And all this, to offer consumers ever lower prices (in the “best” of cases!) This is how the Momen concept was conceived. We are beginning to dream of a fashion that goes back to basics; a fashion that values the know-how of the women and men who devote themselves to it... Read their story
