The John Green design house was founded on the principles that brought us all together; innovation, functionality and a and our shared passion for timeless design… We believe our handcrafted approach to designing, prototyping and manufacturing is translated throughout our work, and enriches the experience of a John Green design piece. Otherwise, quite simply, we wouldn’t put our name on it!! It all started with an Embrace……… Now in its tenth year, the John Green design house came to life as a result of the Embrace coffee table, a design originally conceived as part of a university project. This award-wining design has now sold over 3000 units and was the catalyst to launch the studio and expand the product range. 53.96 degrees north, we have Yorkshire roots, with global branches…….. The studio is located in the centre of York in the north of the UK. We are fortunate to have a small but perfectly formed workshop and studio space, which caters for all our needs. Whilst our products are most definitely born and bread in Yorkshire, our customer base is global and we fulfill orders from all over the world as far as South East Asia, Mainland Europe and Africa.
