About Mixed Up Foods

It all began in January 2020. I was completing my last semester at the University of Vermont when my father's newfound nut butter was locally discontinued. Over the years I developed a passion for cooking, so I offered to recreate it for him. He had his doubts but it was love at first bite. It ended up being better. Seriously Better. Months later, COVID-19 arrives, my post-graduate job offer fell through, and Mixed Up Nut Butter was officially founded in May 2020. We're proud to be part of Vermont's tight community of innovative, crafty, and passionate food entrepreneurs. Running a business with little experience can be difficult, but I know I can count on my community of Vermont food-preneurs when I need them. The side of each of our nut butters has a unique story on how each flavor came to be, whether it started in the kitchen, or on the premise of a Vermont-based topic, like ski season or maple syrup. I want to communicate to people that you don't have to sacrifice flavor to live a healthier life. It all comes down to moderation. With our nut butters, I focus on using blends of healthy, high quality ingredients to create unique and indulgent flavors, but without the refined sugars, palm oil, or artificial additives.
