EST. 2024. Formulated and Made in Canada. The Essential Toothpaste story began with Mark, an avid snowboarder who has lived in the Vancouver, British Columbia area for nearly 20 years. Mark realized that climate change and plastic pollution could highly affect what he loves. After working for many large companies driven by huge profits and margin, social responsibility was never taken into the equation. During his time working for these companies he was on mission to educate his coworkers that small changes in there day-to-day work routines could lead to bigger better things for the planet. He always thought business could be done differently. In his endless exploration on sustainability he stumbled across a brilliant product: Toothpaste Tablets - a sustainable alternative to conventional Toothpaste tubes. The idea of a toothpaste that reduces plastic waste paired with an element that is adventure-friendly was a match made in heaven! After trying many, if not all products on the market, there was something left to be desired. Too chalky, no science backed ingredients, terrible flavour, lack of professional testing were the industry norm. Mark always had an intense curiosity of how things worked!
