From San Clemente to Mo‘orea to the North Shore, every piece is a love letter to the sea—and a reminder of what’s worth protecting. As a woman-owned brand, we’re all about thoughtful, sustainable art-making that honors the natural world we draw so much inspiration from. The artist, Kristianne Riddle, is a Southern California native and lifelong ocean lover whose photography is deeply inspired by a life lived on the water. Raised in the surf town of San Clemente by a family of travelers and artists, she developed an early love for exploration, creativity, and the natural world. After earning her BFA in Fine Art Photography from CSULB and solo backpacking through Europe, she began working as a freelance photographer while also guiding wilderness expeditions in the Sierra Nevada and later for Outward Bound in Colorado. A life-changing ocean voyage with her husband—from San Diego to French Polynesia and Hawaii aboard a 38' sailboat—deepened her connection to the sea and sparked a body of work centered around themes of passage, freedom, and the sublime. Now based back in San Clemente, she continues to sail, surf, and photograph life on her family’s 46-foot sailboat. Read their story
