About Imaginarium Arts

Imaginarium Arts reflects my personal passions, interests, and obsessions. It displays a love of dark, creepy, mysterious things with a sense of wonder and nostalgia, creating art that is at once weird and whimsical. And it is, of course, inspired by the rabblerousers, boundary pushers, and free spirited folk of generations prior. As an artist and designer, I take great pride in my craftsmanship and individuality. The unique designs in my shop are created using thrifted, reclaimed, recycled, upcycled and found objects whenever possible. When that isn't possible, I strive to purchase as many my supplies as I can from small, indie businesses and makers, so that we can continue to create a healthy community of support in the arts. I find creativity to be a source of release and therapy as much as it is my own independence, self expression, and voice. It is also important to me that my work reflects not just my personality, but my “found family” and communities of misfits and outcasts. I create things that I personally love to wear, use, and decorate with, because I believe in providing my customers with the same level of quality content that I would wish to see and use myself. Additionally, I prefer, as often as I can, to source from companies that support the same values as I do (sustainability, equality, inclusivity, diversity, accessibility) and from fellow businesses/individuals who are from marginalized and historically underrepresented groups.
