About Red Mortar

How it started... My passion for cooking started with my dad and the love we both share for food. With my dad's many years in the culinary industry, I was lucky enough to learn kitchen etiquette and cooking techniques at home. We traveled around the states a lot growing up so our experiences range from devouring a rack of ribs in Memphis, fully loaded slaw dogs in the Carolinas, Texas BBQ that falls off the bone in Dallas, to home cooked meals every Friday for the entire family. I get asked often; "what's your favorite thing to cook?" To that I say "anything" because I enjoy trying new things and I enjoy the process of making it. We love cooking, we love family, and we love to share good food with good people!Read their story
