About Svenska Kakao

All our chocolate is made bean to bar from cacao beans in our small factory in Österlen. A genuine Swedish craft that is produced locally by our small team of skilled chocolate artisans and then shipped to prized restaurants, shops and department stores around the world from Paris to Tokyo. The cacao beans are sourced by us from producers that we have met and from growers we have visited to ensure fair conditions, sustainable processes and high quality beans. All of our cacao and sugar is organic but not always certified. Instead we ensure this by personal visits to origin. We do not want to limit the producers we can buy from or exclude rare cacao varieties that are to small to be certified. Read their story
