I am a researcher of shapes. This research has always distinguished my creations, even during the period of studies, internships and workshops. I found in glass and in the lampwork technique, the ideal tools to carry out my personal research. My interest in glass began in 2000 and continues through study courses at the Glas&Modern Vetroricerca institutes in Bolzano and the Abate Zanetti glass school in Murano. I stayed in Murano for a year as an assistant to a master glassmaker until 2004, the year of the opening of my studio in Livorno. In May 2015, the Tuscany Region awarded me the qualification of Master Craftsman. Among the many glass processing techniques, I choose the torch technique because it is based on immediate actions, where the precision and skill of the gestures make the glass even more versatile. It is a technique that gives me a margin of improvisation where I best express my creativity. Creativity is an urgency, a spontaneous gesture, a moment, a state of mind. I am not looking for the perfect glass pearl, but an object in harmony with its surroundings and consistent and close to my creative impulse. For this reason, Studiozero-Vetro jewels are unique pieces. Similar to each other, but never the same.
