About DIARGE
DIARGE is a manufacturing company based in Taito Ward, Tokyo. Taito Ward is the smallest of Tokyo's 23 wards in terms of total area, but it is a popular tourist destination with the historic downtown areas of Ueno and Asakusa, and is also known as an art town, with the Tokyo University of the Arts and the National Museum of Tokyo. It is also an area with a thriving production area for leather, shoes, bags, accessories, and metal accessories. As one of the centers of commerce and industry since the Edo period, it has developed into a highly concentrated area of population and industry, with relatively small-scale handicrafts and manufacturing businesses, and wholesalers and wholesalers who distribute the products they produce. From the Meiji period until the mid-1930s, Taito Ward was also a key transportation hub, with various processing factories lined up along the Sumida River, and the people who worked there lived nearby, forming a local community where people lived close to their workplaces.
