About Aquário
Aquário is an independent ceramic studio based in Porto, Portugal, founded by ceramic artist Sara Bacalhau. Sara's work is centred around playful, functional ceramics designed to be part of everyday life. From mugs and espresso cups to small tableware pieces, each object is made by hand in our studio, combining simple forms, bold colours and a distinctive handmade feel. We produce our pieces in small batches, with care given to every stage of the process. The result is a collection of functional ceramics made to be used, loved and enjoyed every day.
