Arifah Studio is a summer and resort wear brand based in London. Inspired by the beauty and traditions of Bali and Oaxaca, Arifah Studio blends unique batik and ikat prints and also hand embroidery with contemporary designs, ready to take you through summer and beyond. Our kaftans, dresses, tops and skirts are all easy shapes & easy to wear pieces. Designs that can be worn summer after summer. The founder and creative director, Syarifah McDonough is Indonesian and spends much of her time in both Indonesia and Mexico where she has developed relationships with highly skilled local artisans. We strive to be responsible to our makers and our planet by employing artisan communities led by women. Our garments are made from natural fabrics with natural dyes and we only produce in limited quantities.Read their story
