”WYJ" is a famous brand of chinese iron pots, founded in Qing Dynasty(1644-1661). In the seventeenth year of Daoguang period(1837). it was posted by Qing government and named "WYJ smelt workshop".It was the earliest large smelt workshop(government designated smelt workshop)in the south of the yangtze river.All food pots sold are sealed with a red stamp of WYJ brand, which is trusted by users.The brand was protected by the Jiangnan general administration of commerce of the Qing Dynasty. At the end of Qing Dynasty, when shanghai Xinyuanlai, Nantong Zisheng and other nearly ten smelting workshops were founded,most of pot craftsmen came from WYJ, thus forming the unique quality subang iron pot, referred to as "su-guo",WYJ is the birthplace of su-guo.In 1930, the trademark "WYJ" was registered.
