About Saatgutkonfetti

Our founder, Philip, studies product design at the Kunsthochschule Kassel. In 2018, he and a fellow student came up with the idea to develop sustainable confetti. This led to the creation of seed confetti, an alternative that allows you to do good and make a positive contribution to biodiversity at the same time. They put their idea into action and won various awards for it, including the "Student Prize" at the "Rundgang" of the Kunsthochschule Kassel, the audience award of the "Unikat-Ideenwettbewerb," and the "Green Concept Award 2019." In April 2019, Philip founded the current start-up with his friends Chris and Katja to turn the colorful university project into a social enterprise. Today, we already have 20 employees and produce our seed confetti in a small manufactory in downtown Kassel.Read their story
