About BinBreeze

BinBreeze is the world's first 'indoor compost powder' a carbon and mineral mixture scientifically developed to by applied by consumers directly onto their food waste. BinBreeze will instantly neutralize food waste odours, and its organic formula will dehydrate, kill, and compost your fruit fly problem in your kitchen compost bin! BinBreeze was developed by student Taylor McCarten and Prof. Harmen Ziljstra at the University of Victoria. The product is all natural and organic, made from clean wood waste diverted from burning, absorbent fossilized algae, and hyper-porous minerals that bind to nutrients in the decomposing waste. For every 3 units of BinBreeze sold, 1kg of wood waste is diverted from burning into our atmosphere where it can contribute to climate change. Instead, that healthy carbon is sequestered into the soil of your compost, or that of your municipal compost facility. Having launched in March of 2020, BinBreeze is a 'Covid' company that has persevered and found traction with Canadians and retailers alike.
