Hi, I'm Jenny, the founder of PAMICO - how it all began? With a trip through Costa Rica. Here you can find real life or, as it is so beautifully called there, “Pura Vida” - an expression of the lifestyle of the inhabitants of this paradise. Like the happy smile of the many sloths in the primeval forests of Costa Rica, the bliss of the wild dogs living there is also reminiscent of Pura Vida. Early in the morning, one of these dogs stormed towards us joyfully. We christened him Hatchiko, because from then on he was our loyal companion on the way through the jungle on the Pacific. “What makes these dogs so happy?” The answer was obvious: Nature! It offers everything that makes a dog's heart beat faster - wilderness, freedom and food! Whether fresh fish or berry vitamin bombs. Nature provides the most species-appropriate and best food. And that's how I got my idea. Just as Costa Rica makes everyone feel the Pura Vida, there should be dog food that also puts that very specific smile on our dogs' faces. The question quickly arose as to how you can serve the fresh food to your own four-legged friend anytime and anywhere? So my goal was set! To develop a natural dog food that is easy to use and has all the benefits of fresh food. The solution was freeze-drying, which was gentle on nutrients. The principle of sublimation drying makes it possible to simply barf anywhere with healthy raw materials.Read their story
