About Poppy Bloem

It was by chance that I fell in love with stitching. I discovered an embroidery function I was unaware of while modifying the settings on my sewing machine. I tried it out of curiosity and was immediately captivated. Motivated by my passion for nature and travel, I began stitching state flowers and city names. Every design seems to be an attempt to capture the spirit of a location in a single stitch. It felt ideal to name my brand Poppy Bloem. In addition to being my favorite flower and the state flower of California, where I started the brand, "Poppy" is also the name of my grandfather. And "Bloem" means "flower" in Dutch. What started off as a straightforward discovery evolved into a passion, and today with stitch I my favorite cities and states that I have visited.Read their story
