Maven Apothecary started out of a basement in 2005. Twenty years (and a brick-and-mortar location) later, we maintain our focus to use quality ingredients, mix, and pour & slice our goods by hand. We aim to connect with our customers by sharing a passion for artisan crafted, small batch self care products. SOAP DISCLAIMER: Our soaps are made by hand in small batches, using the cold process method and only the finest ingredients. PLEASE NOTE: Bars are cut at approximately 6.5 ounces when the batch is fresh (the day after pouring). As the soap cures, it can lose up to 20% of its weight due to climate conditions, making the finished bar weigh around 5.2 - 6.5 ounces. These soaps are hand poured and hand cut, so please allow a bit of grace on finished bar size. Due to the handmade nature of our soaps, no two are exactly alike. That being said, there's no guarantee that the soaps you buy from us will look identical to what is pictured. Patterns and colors are subject to change from batch to batch.Read their story
