About Coco & Ellie

Coco & Ellie—named after the two dogs who inspired it—was born from real frustration and even greater love. When Laura brought home Ellie, a Dachshund, she immediately saw how limited the market was for high-quality, well-designed dog essentials that could stand up to real life. A few years later, when her mother got Coco, a Yorkie, the problem became even clearer: designer brands offered pet lines, but most were afterthoughts: impractical, poorly fitted, or impossible to clean. Determined to create something better, Laura started with what was missing most: a carrier bag that was both beautiful and functional. It needed to be durable enough for daily use, comfortable for small dogs, and elegant enough to feel like part of her wardrobe. When Coco & Ellie officially launched, the carrier and the cashmere sweaters debuted together, with the beige carrier quickly emerging as a standout. Next came the Italian-made cashmere sweaters, designed with the same attention to form and function. Each includes thoughtful details like a discreet leash opening, realistic sizing, and a slightly longer, turtleneck fit that works across breeds, finally solving the comfort and practicality issues most small-dog owners face.
