About Homemade NJ Candles
It all started when my boyfriend and I would walk around stores like Homegoods. He hated standing in the isle for an hour and one time he said, “Why don’t you just start making your own products?” I said to him, “No, I can’t do something like like.” A few months later he bought me a 5lbs bag of wax and said, “You never know until you try.” I tried and at first, I didn’t like it! It was too much to think about, I didn’t think I was doing it right, I didn’t know how I wanted the candles to look! Over the course of that year, somehow I just pulled it together. I can’t remember the exact moment it came together, but it did! I graduated college that year straight into a pandemic. Lost my job and my dignity. I decided at some point, why don’t I just go all in on this candle thing?! Through a lot of trial and error, here I am. I am in over ten retail stores, I go to multiple markets & Pop-up shops a year and I am truly, genuinely happy! I never thought when I was a little girl this would be the avenue id take as an adult but I truly love what I do!

Hello Peggy! We are so sorry for the broken candle! We do our best to make sure that each product is packed with care when shipping out. Unfortunately, once the products have left our candle factory (in our home! Lol) we can not always account for what happens to them on their long cross-country journey.
