Founded in the summer of 2018, Kasey initially began making and selling headbands in order to buy books for her third grade classroom library. After a few months, her products were becoming more and more popular and she quickly realized that her "side hustle" could become something much bigger. She made the tough decision to leave the classroom and pursue The Happy Headband Co. full time! After just three years, we have gone from being a one-woman-show to a full blown business with a headquarters located in downtown Kalamazoo, MI and several employees! We're still dedicated to helping out teachers, and continue to do so through our Bands for Books program. We use a portion of our proceeds to buy books for classroom teachers across the country. Every single one of our headbands are handmade by a small team of women in Michigan. Every time you shop small with The Happy Headband Co, you are directly affecting the lives our small team and we are incredibly grateful for each and every purchase. Your support means the world to us! We currently offer four different styles of headbands in over 300 different prints. We have a headband for everybody! We are always finding fun and unique patterns, which allows us to drop weekly restocks. We use a variety of fabrics to bring you the softest and most comfortable headbands around.
