About Scented Pot

The Beginning It all started in Jan 2020 when we lost grandma suddenly. A couple of weeks later, we lost another grandma. Soon after that, an immediately family member was diagnosed with Stage 1 cancer, and on top of that we were all trying to cope with the covid pandemic that was sweeping the world. After grandma passed, Dad left his part time job to become grandpa's full-time caregiver and Tammy could see that dad was struggling so she started to visit everyday to help out and keep them company. It was then, with all the free time that Tammy decided to finally give candle making a try as it was something she always wanted to learn (especially as a huge candle lover!) Dad decided he wanted to learn and help and it eventually became a form of therapy for them both; an escape from missing grandma and from the negative events happening around the world. The Result We got into disagreements and bumped heads a lot but we also learned a lot from each other and ultimately, the most important thing that came out of this was that we got to spend time together! We even had grandpa help lid the candles and pack them back into the boxes for something to do, in case you all wanted to know that little detail! While our journey began as a way to cope with something negative, we created something beautiful along the way and we want to share that with you!Read their story
